Ori-Tech Q1 & Q2 Quenching Oil is used for the hardening of the steel. Quenching oil QI is a normal Quenching oil, while Q2 give faster Quenching rate. It is used to obtain the maximum strength, hardness and microstructure from the hardening steel

It meets and exceeds the requirements of MIL-L-17672C, DIN 51524 Part 1, Denision HF-1, Cincinnati Milacron.

Application

  • It is used for convention Quenching operation where the oil temperature is controlled between 32 °C and 55 °C.
  • Quenching oil Q2 possesses medium to high Quenching speed for greater hardness and is considered bright quenching oil since it does not stain.
  • Quenching oil QI has the slow quenching rate.
